Alongside my clinical duties I am also a Cert 3/4, pre-reg and contact lens optician supervisor. I am in charge of the clinic diary as well as regularly conducting staff training particularly around EOS to promote the services available to our patients and refine in-store triage process to ensure all patients receive the highest standard of care.
Outside of practice I work for Specsavers professional advancement team as as consultant assisting in the development of resources that benefit pre-registration and newly qualified optometrists and facilitating events designed to develop the next generation of practitioners.
I also run a personal blog on instagram around my life in practice with over 30,000 followers where I share ophthalmic imagery and cases I come across in practice.”
