FAQs:
Is this just going to be lecture like uni?
No. This is focused on streamlining your routine, your investigative questions, your technique, your data interpretation, and your decision-making. You are encouraged to take your own notes, and ask for clarification on any points.

Is it a different topic each week?
Yes, a new topic with a different expert.

Do I need to have my camera on?
We prefer if you have your camera on. This is an INTERACTIVE workshop; and the job of an Optometrist involves interacting with the patients that we care for. If you’re naturally a shy person, then as the weeks go on, you’ll grow in confidence.

If I’ve missed a previous Weekly Workshop, can I still attend further sessions?
Absolutely! Each workshop will run as an individual, free-standing session. Sessions are not pre-recorded

Does it matter what stage of Pre-Reg I am up to?
No. These workshops are aimed at ALL stages of qualification. Even if you’re qualified and want to brush up on key skills, then you’re welcome to attend. The skills and competencies covered will encompass Stage 1, Stage 2 and the OSCEs.
